Family and History: The Wright Family Father: Tiberius Argus Wright Mother: Ashlee Winter Coates Wright (Deceased) Children: William Winter Wright - 1st Born Troy Argus Wright - 2nd Born Marcus Tiberius Wright - 3rd Born Ixora Ashlee Wright - 4th Born Blood Line: Tiberius – Pureblood Ashlee – Muggle William, Troy, Marcus, and Ixora – Half-bloods Tiberius was born and raised in London; both of his parents worked with the Ministry of Magic, and after his time at Hogwarts he joined the ministry as well. He worked there happily oblivious of the muggle world living around him. Until the day he ran into a beautiful woman, getting his robes doused with hot coffee. She apologized profusely trying to wipe the hot liquid off of his robes. He asked if he could buy her a new cup if she wasn't in a hurry, and she agreed with a big smile. Tiberius talked openly with the young woman who said her name was Ashlee about the wizarding world; even taking her into a back alley to show her how easy it was to clean the coffee off of his robes with a simple swish of a “wooden stick”. As they were leaving each others company Tiberius told Ashlee that every day at noon exactly he would be waiting for her at the exact spot they had bumped into each other. Ashlee blushed, nodded her head and said her farewells. It was two months before she returned to the spot of her fateful meeting with Tiberius, though she feared she had taken too long to decide. But there he stood with a cocky little smile upon his lips as she approached him, “I knew patience would win out in the end.” Ashlee laughed at this, walked to his side and wrapped her arm around his, “Then win you did. I have paid close attention to London these last two months and have seen all you have mentioned before. It scares me, though you do not, and I'd rather be with that which can protect me from the unknown...if that makes sense.” Tiberius laughed, “Completely. And I shall protect you. I promise.” Two years later Tiberius and Ashlee married and bought a beautiful house on the outskirts of London. They started discussing having a family; Tiberius informed Ashlee that their children may also become wizards and witches or they may simply be like her, a muggle with no magical ability at all. Ashlee thought about this situation, deliberated over it carefully, and came to the fact that this did not matter as long as she could have children and they be Tiberius'. Nine months later Ashlee gave birth to quadruplets; three boys and a girl; William Winter, Troy Argus, Marcus Tiberius, and Ixora Ashlee. William and Troy were identical and Marcus and Ixora were fraternal twins. They were all happy children, and played well together; rarely fighting or arguing. The boys always watched over their little sister, protecting her and keeping her safe. William was a rugby star, but he also played baseball and hockey. Troy played rugby and wrestled, Marcus played football during the summer and hockey during the winter. Ixora was their personal cheerleader and joined a cheer leading squad. Ixora also studied the fine arts of dance. The one sport the family all played together was quidditch. Their mother took on the task of cheering everyone on, their father was the ref and the children teamed up for matches between themselves for practice. Their father always took them to professional games, bought them brooms and trinkets to help them support their favorite teams. It was a normal day in this busy families life; every child had a direction to go for their sports, but with only two parents others were turned to for help. Troy was picked up by a fellow wrestling partner to go to a competition, Ixora was dropped off at the dance hall by her mother who was taking William to his baseball game, and their father was taking Marcus to a football game. Ixora gave her mother and eldest brother a kiss farewell, “See you in a few hours! Good luck today, brother.” She jumped out of the vehicle and waved till she couldn't see them any longer. It would be much longer till she saw her brother again and never again would she be held in her mothers arms. The children were seven years old when these events happened and none of them were ever the same; especially William. Ignorant of the things that were about to unfold elsewhere, Troy tried to enjoy his wrestling match. He wished quietly to himself that Mom or Dad could have come to see his performance, it meant a lot to Troy to show them how good he had become at this. The sporting event came to a close, and after the initial excitement of his victory faded he wanted to get home to show off his little trophy to Mom and Dad... well okay, to everybody he could! Troy was dropped off in front of his house, Dad and Marcus were already Home. Troy ran inside, and held his little trophy high as he could. “Dad look!” he shouted with joy. Tiberius grabbed Troy under the arms and put him on his shoulders. “Time for a proper celebration son!”. Cheering ensued, and as other family members would soon come home, all of them would receive the news with the same exuberance. There was only one thing left to wait for; the car with Mom, Ixora, and William to pull in. And wait they did... then they waited some more... the mood was still happy, but significantly deflated. Until Troy overheard Dad trying to reach Mom on her mobile again. Her phone went straight to voicemail... again. Dad was starting to worry, “She's probably had a flat or something, its starting to get quite late so we should all go help her. Okay everybody?” Troy was able to sense his uneasiness through that thinly veiled reasoning, even at that young age. Ixora had been waiting for Mom to pick her up and she was confused, but otherwise okay. That night a sinking feeling started to nag at Troy, he dismissed it whenever it surfaced because how could anything happen to them. They had to be okay. With no sight of either his Mom or William, that sinking feeling gained credibility over he next five days. Not even a phone call. Dad had filled the mailbox on Mom's phone by the end of the first night. Everybody in the family began to fear the worst when Tiberius went to the police to file a missing persons report. He even went so far as to ask the Ministry of Magic to ask if they could help, they agreed to put Aurors on the case immediately. On the fifth night the Aurors came to the Wright household and dealt the terrible news. Ashlee and William were found, but William was badly injured, and Ashlee had been killed... they were too late to save her. They also had suspicion that the Seven were involved in the plot of her abduction, and that the perpetrator escaped, but would still be pursued. Tears of disbelief filled Troys young eyes. What was left of the now shattered family hurried to the hospital to see William. When they got to his room they discovered he was unconscious. It was there the family wept together and felt the sting of loss sinking in. Troy became despondent, his usual confidence was shaken, he was vulnerable. Tiberius suggested he go back to playing sports to keep his mind on something positive. This idea while it had merit provided other kids with little to no scruples about Troy's plight to pick on him mercilessly. This had a profound effect on how he responded to conflicts. To defend his family's honor, and his own, he resorted to fighting back physically. Behavior that landed him in detention quite a few times, but proving to others he wasn't to be trifled with on the subject of family. After a week of unconsciousness in the hospital, William came out of it and recovered physically, but almost felt like a different person. When he came back to school he tried to curtail Troy's behavior and keep him out of trouble. Troy took his advice and started to respond better to the taunting. William had been through a lot and kept some things to himself, but was still a great brother. Troy's attitudes were greatly relaxed to have his brother back. Things between the family were beginning to mend slowly. Years passed and their bonds were strengthened by the day. Aside from the schoolyard, Troy's feelings were still prodded at by kids while playing sports. During a game of footy (soccer) where such things were happening, the most peculiar thing happened. Members of the opposing team were told to crack jokes about Troys Mom to make him screw up and frustrate him, their information was right. Troy got very aggressive and riled up in that game. He made a few fouls and was one penalty away from being thrown out of the game completely. The goalie taunted him the worst by far and Troy wanted to kick the ball in his face to make him shut up. Troy skillfully maneuvered the ball down the field while teammates prevented others from hindering his advance. Troy kicked that ball as hard as he could but when the moment came for the ball to strike the goalie's face, it didn't. The goalie stood there braced for impact with his eyes shut for what seemed to be coming at his face, then the crowd cheered as the ball impacted the goalie's net! GOOOOALLLLLLLL!! Later that night, Tiberius explained to Troy that he accidentally made the ball disappear and reappear behind the goalie with magic, and this was called teleportation. He also cited the fact it was good none of the officials caught it or the goal may have been taken off the score! Tiberius sat down with Troy and said “You can learn to use magic voluntarily and become a wizard!” Troy seemed interested. “...and you can play real Quiddich! At that Troy's interest became profound as he'd been interested in that for as long as he could remember. William fell into a deep depression, giving up sports and sinking into his mind, losing himself in books and studying. Troy focused harder on sports; throwing his whole being into them to keep himself so busy as to not think about the loss. Marcus turned away from sports and focused all his attention into studying the finer arts of writing, preforming, and music. Ixora simply fell into a deep depression. It took her a long time to break out of the depression, and was only able to do so by throwing herself into studying dance and cheer leading. She threw every ounce of energy into pretending to be a happy, peppy person so that her family would forget how sad she really was. It was a truly exciting day for Troy when he received his Hogwarts invitation. He could leave the bullies of his current school behind and start over. He was excited to learn at Hogwarts and become smarter like William. He could play wizard sports like Quiddich, he could do real magic like his father told him about! Troy then dedicated himself to becoming a great wizard, if for no other reason than his Mother would have been proud to see him achieve it. “A team is not a team if you do not give a damn about each other” -Best of the Best
