Ultimate Hogwarts RPG Plot: Sir Daniel Marsden and the Seven

For 15 long years, the wizarding world has been crumbling at the hands of Sir Daniel Marsden, the cleverest student to ever come from Ravenclaw House and founder of the Seven.

The Seven started out as a small band of criminals consisting of Marsden, his six best friends from Hogwarts, and others who were willing to join his cause. That small band of criminals has grown into the world's largest wizarding crime syndicate. Operating in every country as quietly as anyone can, the wizarding government has so far been powerless against Marsden's regime. Only one member of the Seven has ever been captured, and he was found dead by unknown circumstances in Azkaban before the Ministry of Magic could make him talk. Marsden's power has overwhelmed his victims, including his main target: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Seeing the need for more people to stand up to the Seven, Professor Joseph Witchard, current headmaster of Hogwarts School, operates The Order of the Eight, or TOE. TOE is a resistance group, and is the brainchild of Witchard's former colleague Andrew Langerton, who has since retired from teaching. Though they are small in numbers, TOE has won two victories over Marsden: a former general in the Seven Army has defected to TOE and has proven to be a valuable ally, while Professor Flara Meridian brought Witchard a piece of Muggle technology that has revealed possibly Marsden's most sinister plan of all: The Muggle and Squib Purification Act (MSPA Initiative).

Squibs who have felt neglected by the wizarding world and Muggles who want abilities that wizards have to offer have agreed to help Marsden in manipulating non-magical blood by the opposite of magic: the means of science. This futile attempt to make the earth a complete land of wizards has cost numerous Muggles their lives. Marsden, who is more determined than ever after seeing his baby girl struggle with magic at an early age, continues to fund MSPA so that a "cure" can be found.

With Seven Spies hidden all throughout the wizarding world and Marsden determined to unlock one of Ravenclaw's greatest secrets to use as a weapon, the students at Hogwarts are not safe. No one is. Marsden will soon be emperor of the earth if he isn't stopped.
